Falcon 9 Launch
A few days ago SpaceX launched the Dragon capsule to the ISS, thus beginning a new chapter in NASA space exploration. The first commercial launch to the ISS contracted by NASA, the launch and subsequent trip to the space station appear to have been successes.
The technology and exploration is fascinating. Perhaps this is even more interesting to me since a former student of mine works for SpaceX and is actively involved with both the Falcon and Dragon.
