Volcanic Eruption; Climate

Two large volcanic eruptions are taking place, the eruption of Bardarbunga volcano in Iceland and the eruption of Fogo volcano on the island of Fogo in the Cape Verde Islands.  Both volcanoes have been erupting in a big way for approximately 5 months now.

Another big piece of news...both NOAA and NASA, according to their data, have indicated that 2014 is now the warmest year on earth since record keeping began.

Well, it's official.  The remnants of Typhoon Nuri have morphed into the most powerful storm in recorded history to affect the Bering Sea and Alaska.
